She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Zotz and Armenta Zotz (Owens); her son Paul Jr.; her husband James Datin; her son Chris Kauzlarich; her siblings, Carl Zotz, Alice Davis and Mary Zotz; and her granddaughter Jenny Hindman.
She is survived by: her former husband Paul Kauzlarich; her children, Christopher, Elizabeth Chambers of Oskaloosa, Theresa Barker (Joe Pearson) of Albia, Diana Kurimski (Tom Bakalar) of Newton and Brenda Newman (Randy) of Albia; her siblings, Marilyn Fulton of Iowa City, Janet Summers of Albia and Michael Zotz (Donna) of Afton; and her close friend Steve Strasko. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren.
