He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcom "Mike" and Lois Leota Sinclair (Phipps); his sister Gwendolyn Marie Sinclair; and his grandparents, Earl and Nellie Sinclair.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Sinclair; his children, Lynn Heriford, Cynthia Kirk (Kenny) and Michael Sinclair (Jen); and his grandchildren, Rachell, Ariel, Tyler, Aaron and Kelsey. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established to the American Legion in Albia.
