He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Montgomery and Thelma Marie Illingworth (Lowe); his wife Marilyn Edith Kester; and his siblings, Virginia Holden Crabb, Jack Illingworth and Ron Illingworth.
He is survived by: his children, Marc Illingworth of Indianola and Mari Illingworth of East Moline, IL; his grandsons, Andy Illingworth (Angela) of Indianola, Adam Illingworth (Jennifer) of Des Moines and Nickolas Illingworth (Bailey) of Des Moines; and his great grandchildren, Drew, Carter and Jude Illingworth.
An open memorial has been established to the family to be determined at a later date.
