It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine Emerson (Albia, Iowa), born in Fort Morgan, Colorado, who passed away on April 17, 2018, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe Mercer and Bertha Mercer; her son Kenneth; and her brother Frank. She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Ann, Marjorie Justice, Sheryl Jones and Alan Sisson; her grandchildren, Joy Cheatem of Wichita, KS, Kristina Wears of Garden City, KS, Tim Emerson of Albia, IA and Kristopher Emerson; her great grandchildren, Parker Emerson, Alyssa Parish, Zeta Emerson, Chandler Emerson, Aaron Owens, Alexis Briggs, Alesha Owen-Walters, Adam Owens, Eric Briggs, Donnie Downs, Austin Mitchell, Jonathan Mitchell, Shelby Wears and Saleen Wears; and also Marvin Ivan.
