He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Betty Garver; his former wife Julie Garver (Petty); his stepchildren, Amy Beck (Bill), Kristyn Anderson (Kaynan) and Trent Garver; and also, Steve, Mike and Bruce.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Monroe County 4-H Foundation, Albia Booster Club, or any charity of the donor's choice.
