She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Stuchel and Julia Stuchel (Heagney); her sons, Anthony and Stephen; her siblings, Betty Romp, Evelyn Whitlock, Richard, Don, Bob, Jim, Stanley, Gary and Bill Stuchel; and her children-in-law, Mike Amos and Chris Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Albert Smith of Albia; her children, Stanley Smith (Bernie) of Grimes, Cindy Sinnott (Tom) of Des Moines, Cathy Brandt (Craig) of Pleasant Hill, Carol Reed (Terry) of Albia, Christine Amos, Randy of Albia, Mark Smith (Gail) of Moravia, Barbara Smith (Stanley) of Albia, Daniel Smith and Laura of Albia; her sister Ruth Carle (Bob) of Des Moines; her sisters-in-law, Rose Stuchel and Sharon Stuchel; and her daughter-in-law Judy Smith. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren, one great great grandchild.
