She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean Whitson and Helen Whitson (Dingman); her sons, Scott and Skylar; and her father-in-law Richard Schelker Sr..
She is survived by: her husband Richard Schelker Jr. of Albia; her children, Stacey Gillaspie (Matt) of Albia, Ricky Schelker III (Stacy) of Des Moines, Stephany Schelker and Jerald Russell of Ankeny; her grandchildren, Marcus A. Major, Shaine W-L Major, Tylar C. Major, Michaela A. Lloyd, Michael Gillaspie, Alexis Gillaspie, Wendy L. Laughridge, Reba R. Phinney, Richard E. Schelker IV, Isabella, Paisley, Emmy R. Van Rheenen, Ayla R. Wilkinson, Keagan R. Klinger, Jared D. Schelker, Summer A. Russell, Sebastian J. Russell and Christian L. Russell; her great grandchild Roland E. Major; her siblings, Myrnalee Dyer (Dwight) and Tommy Whitson; her mother-in-law Rose Marie Schelker; and her siblings-in-law, Roxanne Ciprian (Gary), Wade Schelker (Laurie), Matthew Schelker (Julie) and Karlin Schelker.
