She is survived by: her children, Diane Meyer (Jerry), Carol Stocker, Nancy Langstraat (Mike), Dan Stocker (Julie) and Norman Stocker (Shantel); her grandchildren, Matthew Meyer, Nathan Meyer (Sarah), Kyle Langstraat, Kayla Higginbotham (Chase), Cameron Stocker, Carson Stocker, Michael Stocker and Mitchell Stocker; and her great grandchild Brooks Higginbotham. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Tharp Funeral Home (116 Benton Ave E, Albia, IA 52531). A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the First Christian Church (203 Washington Ave E, Albia, IA 52531).
A memorial has been established to Mary Sauter's Pay It Forward Program or to Compassion International.
