With solemn reverence, we commemorate Mary Coop of Albia, Iowa, whose life came to an end on December 28, 2024 at the age of 81, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Reed and Eleanor Reed (Reid); and her siblings, Jack Reed, Beth Jenkins and Dale Reed.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Tucker (Truddy) and Linda Tucker; her stepchildren, Angela Goerndt (Michael) and Andrew Coop (Jill); her grandchildren, James Tucker (Tamera), Catherine Tucker, William Tucker, Damon Tucker and Savannah Tucker; her stepgrandchildren, Elliott and Erica; her great grandchildren, Isabella, Landon, Liam, Ryland, Veyda and Rowan; and her mother-in-law JoAnn Coop. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Christian Church (203 Washington Ave E, Albia, IA 52531). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
A memorial has been established to Carnegie-Evans Public Library in Albia.
