He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Melanie Summers of Albia, Kevin Summers of Des Moines, Craig Summers (Candy) of Albia and Mark Summers (Missy) of Albia; his grandchildren, Nick Summers (Jen), Ashley Richard, Miranda Summers, Jessica Miller (Darrin), Makenzie Summers, Makayla Summers and Madison Summers; his great grandchildren, Emmitt, Lane, Ethan, Case and Connor; his sister-in-law Janice Summers of Des Moines; his sister Jane; and his brothers-in-law, Tim Donelson of Pella and Jim DeWitt of Guthrie Center. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
An open memorial has been established and will be determined at a later date.
