He was predeceased by: his parents, Everette Hornaday and Hazel Hornaday; his son Jerad; and his brother Paul Hornaday. He is survived by: his wife Karen Hornaday of Knoxville, IA; his daughters, Amanda Grafft of Tiffin and Tashina Hornaday (Nathan Thomas) of Knoxville; his grandchildren, Kolton Hornaday of Knoxville, Lily Grafft and Noah Grafft of Tiffin; his brothers, Gene Hornaday (Jeanette) of Missouri, David Hornaday (Carol) of Mystic, IA and Charlie Hornaday (Chanda) of Oklahoma; his siblings-in-law, Deb Hornaday and Don Howard (Cindy) of Oskaloosa, IA; and his cherished Shih Tzu (Izzy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sinnott Funeral Home (2030 IA-5, Albia, IA 52531). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
