With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lyle Alan Vanderhorst of Albia, Iowa, who passed away on December 10, 2022 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Vanderhorst and Mildred Vanderhorst (Hill); his wife Anna May Rhodes; and his brother Don Vanderhorst. He is survived by: his daughter Tabitha Vanderhorst; his stepchildren, Sara Leftwich (Rodney), Andrea Long, Corey Selix (Jennifer) and Scott Selix (Kerri); and his sister Karen Denburger. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.

An open memorial has been established to the family.
