He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Walker and Leona Walker (Jones); his siblings, Roland Walker and Lorraine Walker; his in-laws, Dallas and Vera Tucker; and his sister-in-law Sharon Tucker.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Tucker; his daughter Lindsay Allen (Chad); his granddaughter Emily; his siblings-in-law, Marian Walker and Dallas Tucker; and his nephew Kyle Walker. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A memorial has been established to the Avery Church.
