He is survived by: his sibling Cedars; his former wife Kristen Toll; his wife Kristen Van Polen; his child Kinsley Van Polen; his parents, Bob Polen and LeAnn Van Polen; his siblings, Mark Van Polen, Dennis Marlin and Dawn Ann Crozier (Bruce); his nieces and nephews, Amanda, Jacob, Kade, Nathan, Megan, Conner and Hunter; his grandmother Mona Pinne; his parents-in-law, Craig, Kathy Snell and Dan Toll; and his sister-in-law Angie VanEngelenhoven (Shawn). He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and good friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to Kevin's 2 girls, Kaylee and Kinsley, for college funds.
