We are sad to announce that on February 13, 2022, at the age of 31, Katie Jean Peterson of Albia, Iowa, born in Ottumwa, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Marilyn Ann Stephens and Gerald "Jerry" Chester Peterson; and her nephew Waylon Peterson. She is survived by: her parents, David Peterson and Carol Peterson (Stephens) of Albia; her pet Tigger; her brother Jeremy Peterson (Heather) of Albia; her grandparents, Kenny Stephens (Karen Hoover) of Albia and Maxine Peterson of Albia; her nieces and nephews, Talan, Rossilynn, Raidyn, Wyatt and Willow; and her aunts and uncles, Chris "Toots" Sinnott (Donnie), Jeff Stephens (Kristan), Gary Stephens (Jennie), Vicki Colwell, Dennis Peterson, Curtis Peterson (Kaylene) and Merrill Peterson (Melissa). She is also survived by many great aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
