We are sad to announce that on May 24, 2023, at the age of 74, Katie Chidester (Albia, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Bell and Florence Bell (Kellogg); her daughter Patricia Chidester; and her parents-in-law, Jack Sr. and Barb Chidester.

She is survived by: her husband Jack Chidester; her children, Todd Chidester (Judy), Tammy Beary (Bob) and Teresa Gilbert (Pat); her grandchildren, Tony Riddick, Chase Chidester (Megan), Zach Reed (Abbey), David "Jake" Reed, Mikey Gilbert (Stephanie), Ricky Gilbert and Jacquelyn Post (T. J.); her great grandchildren, Landon Riddick, Carson, Bennett Chidester, Jack, Jaxen, Henry, Leo Reed, Hayden, Lane Gilbert and Kinsley Post; and her siblings, Patty Mosby, Bob Bell (Jo), Donna Shroyer (Larry), Janie Force, Jim Bell and Rosie Cox (Max).

Memorials may be directed to the Lucas County Ambulance Service, EveryStep Hospice, or Monroe Care Center.
