With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathy Lynn Fleener of Albia, Iowa, who passed away on June 7, 2021 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, LeRoy Russell and Darlene Marie Woollums (Woods); her husband David Fleener; her siblings, Vicky Jo Woollums and Bradley Woollums; and her parents-in-law, Jim and Ethel Fleener.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Cathy; her children, Teri McIntosh (Loren) of Ottumwa, IA, Chris Smith (Dan) of Albia and Heather Hastings (Jim) of Bussey; her grandchildren, Tara Ingles (Zach), Ty McIntosh, Devinn Clayton (Joe), Kody Chamberlain (Mekayla), A. J. Robinson (Zachary), Joseph Smith, Jensen Powless (Christian) and Jenna Hastings; her great grandchildren, Emerson, Rylee, Kaiden, Rylan, Oakley, Tobias and Preston; her siblings, Carroll Woollums (Cathy), Peggy Christensen (Dick), Cindy Underwood (Ron), Sherry Illingworth (John) and Tammy Woollums; her pet Daisy Mae; and her friend Richard.
A memorial has been established to the National Kidney Foundation.
