He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy Pauline McDonald (Anderson); his wife Nancy Ann Hope (Vance); his father Carl McDonald; and his stepsons, Rodney and Gary Hope.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Janie Hope (Jeff Anderson) and Roger Hope; his stepgrandchildren, Keifer Hope, Morgan Lockhart and Kiera Hope; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Hope Cloke, Isabel Fisher and Macey Fisher; and his siblings, Mary Jo Mills (Scott), Sue Denner (Larry) and Tom McDonald (Joann). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends.
A memorial has been established to Selection Cemetery.
