John Earland Smead Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Earland Smead of Albia, Iowa, who passed away on July 13, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Mansfield and Betty Elaine Smead (Myers); his brothers, George "Ned" Smead and David Dewey Smead; and his sister-in-law Debbie Smead.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Smead; his son John Smead; and his sisters, Peggy Smead and Betty Thompson (Benji). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends.
In Lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to the family.
