He is survived by: his children, Peggy Mitchell (Bob), David Pettibone and Tim Pettibone; his grandchildren, Jennifer Mitchell, Stephanie Hanson, Brit Mitchell, Tiffany Hamilton, Brettany McFadden and Kelsey Stevens; and his brother Jim Pettibone. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed Moravia Volunteer Fire Department or the Appanoose County Fair.
