He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold McKim and Kathryn McKim (Parker); his siblings, Harold, Leona, Diane and Beverly; and his brothers-in-law, LeRoy, Dickie, Larry and Kenny.
He is survived by: his sons, Jerry Allen McKim Jr. (Leslie) and Kevin James McKim (Donna); his wife Sandy McKim; his grandchildren, Trent, Justin, Megan, Bryce, Drake and Lexie; his great grandchildren, Tristian, Parker, Emmitt, Branz and Easton; and his siblings, Dorothy, Norma, Carol, Barbie, Geraldine, Paul, Kathy, Alzina, Eddie, Rosie and Rita. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends.
According to the rules put in place by the Iowa Department of Public Health, proper social distancing and reasonable personal protective equipment is advised for attending a religious public event.
An open memorial has been established to the family.
