He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Rhodes and Elma Rhodes (Robinson); his sisters, Donna June, Delores "Dee" and Darla Kay; and his grandparents, Clyde Ellis, Gladys Gertrude Rhodes, Alfred Robinson and Eva B. Floyd.
He is survived by: his wife Rosealee Selby; his stepchildren, Scott Selix (Kerri), Sara Leftwich (Rodney), Corey Selix (Jennifer) and Andrea Long; his siblings, Don Rhodes (Ann), Diana Bonebright, Debra Lancaster, Jim Rhodes and John Rhodes; and his cousin Cindy Rhodes. He is also survived by several other cousins, nieces, nephews, and good friends.
Per Jack's wishes, his body was donated to the University of Iowa for academic studies.
