He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Anderson and Helen K. Anderson; his son Joseph "Joe" Anderson; and his siblings, Mason, John, Ernest, Lloyd, Harold, Don Anderson, Evelyn Barker, Virginia Sims, Audrey Post and Ida Mae Collins.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Anderson of Albia; his children, Gary D. Anderson, Pam Wells of Centerville, David C. Anderson of Wisconsin and Jami E. Anderson of Albia; his daughter-in-law Robyn Anderson of Albia; his grandchildren, Treana Drost (Matthew) of Oskaloosa, Kara Anderson, Bobby McMurray (Kadyn) of Albia, J. D., Austin Anderson, Keaton Anderson, DeeDee Metigue, Alyssa Anderson, Matt Wetterich of Centerville and Emma Bagley of Albia; his great grandchildren, Kyler Drost, Alex Drost, Ryker Anderson and Braxton McMurray; and his siblings, Richard Anderson and Margaret Mary Darrah. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
