He is survived by: his wife Barbara Baird; his daughter Lynda Niffenegger (Jeff) of Urbandale; his grandchildren, Lindsey Frandsen (Mike) and Lucas Niffenegger of Urbandale; his great grandchild Emerson Faith Frandsen; his sisters, Ruth Belzer of Albia, Carol Belzer (Jerry) of Lawrence and Helen Baker of Chicago; and his siblings-in-law, Sarah Hindman of Fremont and Jack Epps of Sun Lakes. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
