He was predeceased by: his parents, Avis Josephine Peel (Meade) and George A. Peel. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Scurlock of Centerville; his daughters, Debbie Thompson (Rick), Pam Welch (Rich), Diana Dhamers (Randy) and SuEllen Wolver (Rod); and his sister Mary Jo Scurlock (Tim). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren.
