Elwood Ray Tharp Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 4, 2021, at the age of 74, Elwood Ray Tharp of Albia, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank William and Fae Madeline Tharp (Graham); his sister Mary; and his nephew Graham Tharp. He is survived by: his former spouse Davida Brandon; his sons, Frank Tharp (Annie) of Albia, Tom Tharp of Albia and Richard Tharp (Monica) of Albia; his grandchildren, Brandon and Frankie Fae Tharp; his siblings, Yvonne Shertzer (Harry) of Pfafftown, Richard Tharp (Cherry) of McGaheysville and Bill Tharp (Kelly) of Powhatan, Virginia.; and his close friend Ruth. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends.

A memorial has been established to the Bethel Church.
