It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elmer Davis of Albia, Iowa, who passed away on September 26, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Davis and Mary Jane Davis (South); his son Michael Wayne Davis; and his siblings, Charlie, Alice, Mae, Katherine, Harry, John, Robert and Claire.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen Davis of Albia; his sons, Kevin Davis (Deb) of Largo, FL and Chris Davis of Largo, FL; and his daughter-in-law J. J. Davis of Melcher Dallas. He is also survived by several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established to Eslinger Cemetery, the Welcome Home Soldier Monument in Albia, or a charitable organization of your choice.
