We are sad to announce that on January 31, 2023, at the age of 78, Elaine Kay Spaur of Albia, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Curtis and Jean Curtis; her brother Dean Curtis; her brother-in-law Jack Snyder; and her nephew Jeffrey Snyder.
She is survived by: her husband Carl Spaur; her daughters, Jeanne Spaur (Dave Whitehead), Rosemary Tiwari (Ashish) and Rebecca Sanford (William); her grandchildren, Laura Mart (Chris), Elizabeth Ballanger (Mike Douglass), Mariah Ballanger, Anupam Tiwari, Ravyn Sanford, Sophia Sanford and Elijah Sanford; her great grandchildren, Tristan Mart, Harleigh Ballanger and Sebastian De Leon; her siblings, Anita Snyder and John Curtis (Rayanne); and her siblings-in-law, Peggy Ann, Phyllis Spaur and Ray Dittmer (Jan). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends.
A memorial has been established to the Albia Baptist Temple.
