It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Arthur Bacon of Albia, Iowa, born in Knoxville, Iowa, who passed away on September 17, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Bacon and Cloy Bacon (Tickle); his grandson Duane Touney; and his brothers, Dale and Danny Bacon.
He is survived by: his former wife Gwendolyn Gwinn; his child-in-law Kim Cooper; his pets, Sam, Annabelle and Peanut; his wife Kim Bacon; his children, Doug Jr. Bacon (Karen) and Hiedi Touney (Ed); and his sisters, Pat Neer (Ron) and Rose King (Jim). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends.
An open memorial has been established to the family.
