She was predeceased by: her son Wayne; her parents, Joseph Furtado and Lillian Furtado; and her siblings, Eleanor and Melvin.

She is survived by: her daughter Gail Cullen of Albia. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends.
