He was predeceased by: his parents, Burl Eilander and Marie Eilander (Reynolds); his son Brent Eilander of Ottumwa; and his siblings, Betty McDonald (Gene), Lloyd Eilander (Lois), Sylvester Eilander (Janet), Barb Smith (Chris), Gene Wharff of Newton, Cinda Shaver of Kellogg, Iowa and Donna Marie Eilander.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce McCammant Eilander; his children, Donnie Eilander of Georgetown, Kelley Yenger (Terry) of Newton, Kim Beaty (Mike) of Moravia and Brian Eilander of Los Angeles, California; his grandchildren, Jeremy Yenger (Reanna) of Newton, Tara Whitson (Josh) of Newton, Brenden Eilander (Alaina) of Des Moines, Shaun Eilander of Des Moines, Donavan Beaty (Nicole) of Centerville and Brianna Beaty of Moravia; his great grandchildren, Izabella, Gabriel, Brklyn, Hunter Whitson, Ainsley, Benson and Cabot Yenger of Newton, Iowa; and his sister Sherry Wharff of Newton, Iowa.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
