He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Richard and Nellie Jane Scott (Cain); and his siblings, Edith, Verdel, Mary Jane, Dick, Raymond and Alice.

He is survived by: his wife Rose Mary; his children, Gary Scott (Carol), Bob Scott (Barb) and Linda Heller (Monty); his grandchildren, Amy (Chad), Sarah (Jason), Elizabeth (Miguel), Amber, Michele (Taylor), Jaimie (Tyson), Amanda (Aaron), Bobby (Maria), Cathy (Zac), Eric (Jessica), Meagan (Chris), Krystan (Chad), TJ (Kelly) and Jennifer (Eric); and his sisters-in-law, Mary Scott, Jeanie Gamble and Shirley Rockwell (Clarence). He is also survived by 36 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends.
