She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Coady and Catherine Coady (Sheedy); her husband John V. Spencer; her son Dennis Spencer; and her siblings, Dorothy Ann Coady, Mary Kruzic, Robert, Patrick, Pierce and William Coady.
She is survived by: her son Bob; her daughter-in-law Kris Spencer of Bettendorf; her grandchildren, Maggie Spencer of Iowa City, Alex Spencer (Shaina) of North Liberty, Lisa Spencer (Tom Kerns) of Centerville and Coady Spencer of Bettendorf; her great grandchildren, Lauryn Kerns and Abby VanDeVenter; her great great grandchild Lilly Ciska; her siblings, Donna Humiston (Tony) of Albia, Lawrence Coady (Sandy) of Des Moines and John "Jack" Coady (Ann) of Solon, Iowa; and her daughter-in-law Jean Spencer of Iowa City.
