He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Jafvert and Astrid Jafvert (Werner). He is survived by: his close friends, Bob, Sue Nelson, Bluefin Bay, Surfside and Temperance Landing; his wife Gay; his daughters, Gina Vander Werf (Ross) of Golden Valley, Minnesota and Rachel Jafvert of Phoenix, Arizona; his grandson Knox Vander Werf; his sister Lorna Reed (Milt) of St. Petersburg, Florida; and his siblings-in-law, Buzz Massee (Linda) of Littleton, Colorado and Jeannie Finch of Naples, Florida. He is also survived by cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.
