It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leone Buse of Albert City, Iowa, born in Marathon, Iowa, who passed away on July 16, 2022, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerda Johanson and John Johanson; and her husband Stanley Rude Buse. She is survived by: her children, Michael Buse (Donna) of Houston, Texas, Cheryl Weatherington (Ernie) of Johnston, Iowa, Greg Buse (Barb) of Clive, Iowa and Debra Spanier (Terry) of Laurens, Iowa. She is also survived by six grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
In place of flowers, memorials may be directed to Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Albert City, Pleasant View Nursing Home in Albert City, or Kindred Hospice.
