It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Marie Chase of Albert City, Iowa, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on January 30, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Alpers and Dorothy Alpers (Wissmann); and her husband Donald Chase. She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Kiehl (Robert), Kathleen Horn (Kenneth), Pamela Hortter (Leonard) and Cynthia Gleason (William); her sister Ruth Garton; and her nieces, Peggy Gustafson, Kathy Chase, Sue Graves (Mark) and Becky Klatt (Dave). She is also survived by eight grandchildren and their families; extended family and friends.
