With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Florence E. Porath of Albert City, Iowa, who passed away on January 20, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Carlson and Alma Carlson (Blomberg); her spouse Francis Porath; her son Greg; her siblings, Evelyn, Delmar, Carl and Roy; her parents-in-law, Alex and Alma Porath; and her siblings-in-law, Florence Anderson, Helen Nesheim, Verva Carlson, Marlin Anderson and Bob Nesheim.

She is survived by: her children, Gregory, Doug of Waverly, Iowa, Cynthia Lenhart (Gary) of Daytona Beach and Diane McIntosh (Neal) of Mounds View, Minnesota; her grandchildren, Heath Porath, Jenny Penner (Chad), Chris Lenhart (Allison), Cody Lenhart (Amanda) and Callie Driscoll (Shayne); her great grandchildren, Jamison, Jaxon Porath, Sean, Ethan, Colbe Penner, Noah, Annabelle Lenhart, Micah and Jesse Lenhart; and her cousin Ann Chase (Roy). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
