He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Olson and Phoebe Olson (Carlson); his stepmother Ruth Fredrickson; his aunt Esther Olson; his parents-in-law, Lloyd and Helen Fees; and his siblings-in-law, Gene Wall and Lois Fees.
He is survived by: his children, Denise, Scott, Brian, Kevin and Leann; his wife Phyllis Olson of Albert City; his siblings, Gaylen Olson (Darlene) of Appleton, Wisconsin, Twila Oakvik (Jerry) of Anoka and Becky Plocker (Tom) of Blue Earth, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Micah Olson of Vernon Hills, Illinois, Corren Olson of Eden Prairie, Minnesota, Marcail Olson of Albert City, Iowa, Aaron Olson of Vernon Hills, Illinois, Esther Olson of Vernon Hills, Illinois, Mikala Huegerich of Fonda, Iowa and Lain Olson of Albert City, Iowa; and his sisters-in-law, Barb Lilland (Dave) of Nevada and Donna Fees of Appleton, Wisconsin. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
