With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dean A. Struss of Albert City, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 27, 2024 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril Struss and Evelyn Struss (Nielsen); his stepfather Clyde Larsen; his granddaughter Alyssa Struss; his parents-in-law, Carl and Cora Bjork; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Zaruba, Carol Bjork, Jerry Shaw and Gerald Gehling.
He is survived by: his wife Colleen Struss of Albert City, Iowa; his sons, Kirk Struss of Tucson, Arizona, Travis Struss (Janna) of Aberdeen, Erik Struss (Audrey) of Warrensburg, Missouri and Alex Struss (Kayla) of Lima; his brothers, Alan Struss of Owatonna, Minnesota, Daryl Struss of Sioux City, Iowa and Keith Struss (Janet) of Albert City, Iowa; his grandchildren, Benson and Ellie Struss; his brothers, Kyle, Logan Struss, Ethan, Axel and Emery Struss; and his siblings-in-law, Roger Bjork (Ethel), Charles Bjork (Bev), Clarice Shaw and Corlys Gehling. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
