He was predeceased by: his parents, Thebert Sheveland and Marion Sheveland (Anderson); his wife Natalie Ann Brown; his siblings, Verna Anderson (Gordon), Mavis Suffel (Phil), Charlene Hays (Ted), Wesley Sheveland, Don Bergthold and Carol Sheveland; his siblings-in-law, Phillip Brown, Sharon Heier (Dale) and Marilyn Brown; and his nephew Ryan Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Wendi Ruhland (Jerry) of Hawarden, Wanda Johnson (Tim) of Akron, David Sheveland (Misty) of Akron and Chad Sheveland of Sioux Falls, SD; his grandchildren, Joe Ruhland (Kayla), Tracy DeBruin (Justin), Shaun Ruhland (Molly), Tony Johnson, Whitney Cole (Tom), Riley Sheveland and Kaci Sheveland; his siblings, Shirley Bergthold of Rice Lake, Mary Steffl (Bob) of Maple Plain, Dale Sheveland (Karen) of Eden Prairie and Merald Sheveland of Wood Lake, Minnesota; and his brother-in-law Rod Brown. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives.
