It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vera Manley of Akron, Iowa, born in Sioux City, Iowa, who passed away on February 27, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Pranke and Margaret Pranke (Loubey); her husband Bill Manley; and her siblings, Ed, Herman Jr., Darrell, LaVerne (LaTricia) and Marge.
She is survived by: her children, Dale Manley of Struble, IA, Cyndi Sprung (Tom) of Evergreen, CO, Michelle Burns (Tom) of Le Mars, IA, Bernie Manley (Lisa) of Omaha, NE, Doug Manley (Crystal) of Akron, IA and Mary Boehme (Jason) of Ireton, IA; her grandchildren, Aaron Manley (Karolyn), Ashley Bettschen (Dan), Nicolas Sprung, Nathan Sprung (Sally), Noah Sprung (Dustin), Reva Burns, Carly Nelson (Brady), Lauren Manley, Grahm Manley (Shaelyn), Kayla Bruget (Jerod), Kashe Utesch (Chris), Dan Hasenbank (Nancy), Cara Voltzow (Chasen) and Hannah Boehme; and her sister-in-law Frances Pranke. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives.
In lieu of flowers, memorial are preferred to Alzheimer's Association.
