It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rebecca Bernard of Akron, Iowa, who passed away on February 25, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Jack and Ruth Moore (Daland); her parents-in-law, Phil and Pat Bernard; her grandsons, Evan Dean Klemme and Nash Phil Clarey; her sisters, Rachel Moore and Beth Holland (Scott); her niece Jillian Beacom; and her great-niece Marley Schults.
She is survived by: her husband Paul; her children, Ben Bernard (Amanda Ripka), Jenny Bernard (Matt Boettger) and Morgan Bernard (Johnny Clarey); her grandchildren, Caleb Bernard, Alex Bernard, Aria Bernard, Albany Waterbury, Jordyn Cleaveland, Riley Ripka, Logan Schwery, Cameron Mueller, Tanner Klemme, Emma Klemme, Dominic Klemme, Vincent Waterman and Maximus Clarey; her brothers, David Moore (Karen) of Massachusetts and Michael Moore of Rhode Island; and her sisters-in-law, Kathy Beacom, Linda Braun (James), Jeane Stinton (Terry), Lori Campbell (Bill) and Lisa Manley (Bernie). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Memorials may be given to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
