He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Weenink and Ethel Weenink (Hover); his wife Ramona Johnson of Akron; his sons-in-law, Harlan Reece and Bob Brunke; and his siblings, Russ Weenink, Ron Weenink and Mary Vasa.
He is survived by: his children, Cherry Reece of Hawarden, Pamela Amick (Ken) of Mesa, AZ, Deborah Heeren (Robin) of Akron, SD and Scott Weenink (Kathy) of Akron, Iowa; his sister Fran Kraus (Russel) of Centennial, CO; and his sister-in-law Elizabeth Oliphant of Cedar Rapids, IA. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives.
