He was predeceased by: his mother Colleen Springer (Easley); his stepfather William Junge; and his brother-in-law Barney Barnum. He is survived by: his wife Elvena Henderson; his daughter Robbin Ruhland (Tim) of Le Mars; his father William 'Billy Springer of Missouri; his stepmother Barbara Junge; and his siblings, Curtis Junge (Jane), Chris Junge, Angela Barnum and Tammy Springer. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives.
