She is survived by: her children, Dwain Wilmot of Akron, IA and Becky Wright (Will) of Claremore, OK; her grandchildren, Olivia and Evan; her children, Jennifer Bond (Dan), Ronele Murdock of Kansas City, MO and Aaron Wilmot (Jaclyn) of Lakewood, CO; her grandchildren, Zionna and Yeniah; and her sister Jackie Roache Isenburg of Wellington, OH..

The project Meriele was most passionate about was promoting the donation of birthing kits.
