He is survived by: his wife Alyce Toben; his children, Laura Marie Philips (Matthew) of Warrensburg, Russell Kenneth Toben (Joyce) of Westfield and Joseph Karl Toben (Laura) of Westfield, Iowa; his grandchildren, Alex Matthew Philips and Alyssa Marie Philips; his great grandchildren, Isaac Matthew Medler, Coralin Marie Medler, Grant William Philips, Krystal Eileen Biehle (Jacob), Gene Toben (Connie) of Le Mars, IA, Joan Hansen (Loren) of Pierson, IA and Dr. Carl Toben (Janet) of Ida Grove, IA; his siblings-in-law, Kenneth Swanson (Betty) of Le Mars, IA, Keith Swanson (Janice) of Akron, IA and Lynn Swanson of Des Moines, IA; and also, Kassidy Alyce Biehle, Thomas Tyler Toben, Matthew Joseph Toben, Scott Michael Toben and Natalie Jo Toben. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
