It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret Talbott of Akron, Iowa, who passed away on December 26, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Philips and Irene Philips (Johnson); her parents-in-law, George and Avis Talbott (Creekmur); her husband Don Talbott; her son Fred Talbott; her grandson Evan Andringa; her brothers, Richard Philips (Wanda), Jason Philips (Arley), Herbert Philips (Marlene) and Samuel Philips (Nadine); and her siblings-in-law, Arthur Talbott (Dorothy), Mildred Sellers (Clair) and Shirley Jones (Donald).
She is survived by: her children, Elaine Talbott of Jackson, Emily Andringa (Terry) of Sheldon and George Talbott (Linda) of Alcester; her grandchildren, Rachelle Borah (Michael), Shane Talbott (Wendy), Lesley Tjaden (Nick) and Jacob Andringa (Ashley); and her great grandchildren, Hunter Borah, Payton Borah, Kylie Talbott, Noah Tjaden and Zoey Tjaden. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Adaville Church (21212 C38, Merrill, IA 51038). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
