It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorraine Kiewel (Akron, Iowa), who passed away on March 2, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Jammerthal and Gladis Jammerthal (Lower); her husband Edward; her sons, Donald Kiewel (Darlene) and Darrell Kiewel; her daughter-in-law Cathy Kiewel; her siblings, Darlene, Shirley, Elaine, Lola, Imogene, Lois Ann, Carol, Audrey, Bud and Dean; and her son-in-law Floyd Strong.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Karen, DaLona, Christopher, Mark, April, Amy, Crystal, Jonathan, Tammy, Timothy and Leanne; her children, Stanley Kiewel of Akron, Douglas Kiewel (Jeanne) of Alvin, Texas and Sally Strong of Hawarden, Iowa; her daughter-in-law Mary Kiewel; and her siblings-in-law, Jo Sandra Jammerthal and Jack Strong. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren.
