He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Heeren and Marie Heeren (Hultgren); his parents-in-law, Paul and Mildred Stoel; his wife Joanne Heeren; his son Jeffrey Kervyn Heeren; his brothers, Ray Heeren (June) and Verne Heeren; and his nephew Steve Heeren.
He is survived by: his sons, Greg Heeren (Lori) of Akron, SD and Dave Heeren (Kerry Jo) of Akron, SD; his great grandchildren, Tricia Heeren (Heath Dumas), Angela Rembe (Josh), Crystal Moeller and Desiree Heeren (Tommy Holme); his sisters-in-law, Evonne DeVinny of Rochester, MN and Marilyn Heeren of Vermillion, SD; his friends, Ned and Deb Hauser of Akron, IA.; and also, Wyatt, Layne, Aiden, Ethan, Aubri, Braxton and Everett. He is also survived by 4 granddaughters, several nieces, nephews, other relatives.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials can be made to the Akron Care Center or to a favorite charity of your choice.
