She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Dean and Mary Malcolm (Losie); her brother Allen Dean Malcolm; and her brothers-in-law, Richard Button, Dan Sanders, Ronald 'Buck Lanning, Robert 'Bobby Lanning and Dellis Dimmick.
She is survived by: her husband John 'Jack Wayne Lanning; her children, Tammy Fuller (Mark) of Rapid City, SD, Mandy Taggart of Akron, IA and Mitchal Lanning (Jenell) of Akron, IA; her grandchildren, Perry James Houts, Allie Macedo (Heriberto), Holly Behrens (Austin), Emily Sour (Chris) and John David Lanning (Jalyssa Frerichs); her siblings, Laura Jean Hughes (Charlie), Patricia Button, Roberta Van Buskirk (Lester) and Shirley Sanders; and her sister-in-law Patsy Dimmick of Akron. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
